Take a mixing bowl and add the minced beef.

Finely chop the onion; then add the onion, egg, Cajun mix, bread crumbs and mustard to the bowl; season with salt and pepper and mix thouroughly with your hands.

Set a side a small bowl with water to moisten your hands. Portion even balls of about 150 gram. Make your hands wet to form nice round balls without the meat sticking to your hands.

Place a deep frying pan on medium heat and add some olive oil when the pan is hot. Fry the meat balls and brown them evenly on all sides for 10 minutes.

When the meat balls are nicely browned add the butter and gravy cubes and allow to simmer. Now add the water, you can preheat it in a kettle and bring the gravy to a boil.

Allow to simmer for a further 15 minutes until the meatballs are thoroughly cooked.
